Family:  Latilidae (Deepwater tilefishes)
Max. size:  26 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range - 204 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Port Hedland, Western Australia. Known only from the holotype and paratype.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Benthic species which occurs over soft bottom of the continental shelf (Ref. 75154). Collected from a depth of 200 m (Ref. 9069).
