Distribution:  Asia: Caspian Sea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-8; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 5-7. Body slightly reduced, snout roundish. Barbel located on chin, rows of tubercles along body sides. Pale gray in color, whitish on surface (Ref. 33724).
