Family:  Arhynchobatidae (Softnose skates)
Max. size:  14.4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 130 - 434 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: GuamblĂ­n Island, Chile. Southwest Atlantic: Patagonia, Argentina and the Falkland Islands. Also Uruguay (Ref. 58429).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205).
