Max. size:  15.2 cm TL (male/unsexed); 16.7 cm TL (female); max.weight: 38.0 g; max.weight: 58.1 g
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 82 - 801 m
Distribution:  Southern Ocean: East Antarctica (Ross Sea, South Victoria Land, Weddell Sea).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the sublittoral and continental shelf. Feeds mainly on gammaridean amphipods, with substantial amounts of errant polychaetes. Isopods were a minor food item.
