Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6.5; dH range: 10, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Gabon, Angola and Democratic Republic of the Congo. Present in the lower Congo River (Ref. 94750).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in coastal swamps and swampy parts of brooks and small streams in the coastal rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
