Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 7; dH range: 10, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Endemic to the area north of Mékambo, upper Ivindo drainage, northeastern Gabon.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swampy parts of quiet brooks under forest cover (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
