Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Central America: restricted to the Lake Zirahuen in Michoacan, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits small, deep mountain lake with sandy bottom which is partly covered with mud (Ref. 26130).
