Family:  Mochokidae (Squeakers or upside-down catfishes), subfamily: Mochokinae
Max. size:  5.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Pool Malebo (=Stanley Pool), middle Congo River and Ituri River in Democratic Republic of the Congo; only specimens from the latter locality may truely be this species (Ref. 78218).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Oviparous (Ref. 205).

Threat to humans:  harmless
