Remarks Collected from hillstreams with swift current over a substrate of gravel. They swim slowly and usually inhabit the bottom of water. Several other species can be collected at the same time: Carassius auratus auratus (Cyprinidae), Cyprinus carpio (Cyprinidae), Pseudorasbora parva (Cyprinidae), Yunnanilus jinxiensis (Balitoridae), Micropercops compressocephalus (Eleotridae), Silurus asotus (Siluridae), Silurus cochinchinensis (Siluridae) (Ref. 87910).
