Remarks Found on sand or mud bottoms (Ref. 30573). Feed mainly on benthic crabs, penaeid prawns and fishes (Ref. 74928). Smaller length groups (<16.5 cm) feed mostly on flatfish, and other fishes, whereas individuals of larger length groups (>16.5 cm) feed on crustaceans such as benthic crabs and shrimps (Ref. 74928).
