Remarks Estuarine species (Ref. 122893). Coastal (Ref. 122896), found on the upper part of the continental shelf (Refs. 4704, 122897). Lives in sandy and muddy bottoms, generally buried in the sand (Ref. 122895). Associated with Cymodocea nodosa seagrass meadows (Ref. 122894). Feeds on small fishes and invertebrates (Ref. 4704).
