Remarks Coastal species found on soft bottom (Ref. 9349). Carnivorous (Ref 9349). Gut contents of this fish consisted almost entirely of crushed barnacles and small oysters, suggesting that it prefers foraging on submerged mangrove prop roots and rocks (Ref. 75737).
