পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 11 - 15; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 7-9; পায়ূ কাঁটা 1-2; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 6 - 8. Body notably compressed (Ref. 39602).

Presumed to inhabit interstices on rocky and coral-rubble bottoms, bottoms with coralline algae, or among vegetation (Ref. 12123).
