Comments: Type locality: St. Johns River, Florida (Ref. 79012). Recorded from Atlantic and Gulf coastal drainages, mostly below Fall Line (Ref. 10294). Common in southeastern USA, especially Florida; generally uncommon in western part of range (Ref. 5723).
