Comments: Found in the Mississippi River and its large tributaries from Minnesota southward and west through the Guadalupe River drainage, Texas (Ref. 10294). Fairly common in southern half of range; rare in north. Often found in small rivers in eastern Texas (Ref. 5723). Status of threat: vulnerable.
