Comments: Type locality, off Usujiri, Hokkaido, HUMZ 101869 (holotype of Davidijordania yabei, 15.7 cm SL, female). Known only from off Usujiri, Hokkaido and Sea of Japan (Ref. 75208).

Short description Μορφολογία | Μορφομετρία

Μαλακές ραχιαίες ακτίνες (συνολικά): 116-123; Μαλακές εδρικές ακτίνες: 100 - 106; Σπόνδυλοι: 118 - 125. This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: vertebrae 22-24 + 96-103 = 118-125; gill slit reaching ventrally almost to lower margin of pectoral-fin base; body and tail with distinct cream and reddish brown W-shaped saddles; single interorbital pore (Ref. 75208).
