Comments: Known from the upper reaches of Ganga, Yamuna and Brahmaputra river systems (Ref. 41236). Very common in the upper waters of Ganges and Jamuna. Has been introduced into the Cauvery river system (Ref. 4833). Also Ref. 45255.
