Comments: Found in Himachal Pradesh (Yamuna system), Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim (Ref 41236) and Tripura (Ref. 97593). Known from Ganges and Brahmaputra river systems and also Mahanadi in Orissa (Ref. 4832). Present in Nainital Lake (Ref. 89721), Buxa, Adma and Jayanti rivers (Ref. 89719). Also Ref. 45255, 89472 Status of threat: Low risk in Western Ghats (Ref. 50614).
