Comments: Known from Poonch valley in Jammu and Kashmir, eastern Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Darjeeling, Assam, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Gangetic plains (Ref. 45255). Also found in Maharashtra (Ref. 43634). Present in Buxa, Adma and Jayanti rivers (Ref. 89719).
