Comments: Reported from Lam Tsuen River, Siu Lek Yuen, Sham Tseng settlement basin, Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve, and the Shing Mun Reservoir. Possibly introduced via the aquarium trade. Known to hybridise with native wild populations of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus (Ref. 129032).
