Comments: Type locality of the holotype of Chiloglanis pojeri: 'Mambwe, région d'Albertville' (Ref. 89080). However the type locality, 'Mambwe', lies not near Albertville but on the Kibondo, which empties into the Lukulu, a northern tributary of the Luvua River (Ref. 78218). Known from upper Congo River basin in Lufira River (Ref. 2970), Luvua River (Ref. 78218), Lukuga River (Ref. 93587), and rivers in the western region of Lake Tanganyika (Ref. 36901), including Koki River (Ref. 2970, 36901).
