Μαλακές ραχιαίες ακτίνες (συνολικά): 353; Μαλακές εδρικές ακτίνες: 316 - 315; Σπόνδυλοι: 120. Distinguished from its congeners by its bicolored pigmentation, dorsal origin approximately one eye-diameter behind gill opening and the low vertebral count [total 120 (118+, incomplete, tail regenerated), predorsal 12, preanal 35, precaudal 54] (Ref. 106145).
