ก้านครีบอ่อนที่หาง (รวม): 11; ก้านครีบอ่อนที่ก้น: 7. Similar to Paracobitis longibarbatus and Paracobitis posterodorsalus, but distinguished from the latter by the following characters: nose without barbel; delicate mouth barbel; formation of exceptional pectoral fin; and caudal fin deeply forked (Ref. 76748).
