Also found in Xijiang river in Guilin and Yang Shu; Fuchunjiang river in Zhejiang and Qiupuhe river in Anhui (Ref. 45563). Present in Pearl River (Ref. 89718). Also Ref. 26561. Status of threat: Vulnerable (Ref. 45563). Known from Guangxi Province:( Yangsu, Guilin); Jiangde of Zhejiang Province; Anhui Province:( Shitai, Qimen)(Ref.33792).

Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Body silvery gray and slightly dark with wide black stripes to snout in midlines of body, and 4 vertical black lines above the stripes; small black spots on dorsal and caudal fins and a big black spot on base of caudal fin. Snout pointed and depressed; mouth slit almost vertical; nostril openings small and nearer to eyes than to tip of snout (Ref. 45563).
